V Australia

Infants (0-2)

Any Guest 23 months or younger for the entire journey, is classed as an infant, and must be accompanied by a Guest 15 years of age and over or the parent/legal guardian who is 13 years of age and over.

Any Guests travelling with an infant may be required to show proof of the infant's age at check-in, at which time the evidence of age must be presented on request. The infant’s valid passport and/or travel documents will fulfil this condition.

Infants travelling with V Australia will be charged at 10% of accompanying adults fare, and must be carried in the accompanying adult/guardian's lap for the duration of the flight.

If infant turns 2 years of age after the forward journey but before the return journey, the flights need to be booked as two one way trips indicating the correct age at the time of actual travel. In this case, forward journey would be booked as an infant and return as a child.

Infants less than 48 hours old or which require an incubator or ventilator will not be accepted to travel. Medical clearance is required for infants less than five (5) days old. Please visit our travelling with infants page for more information or contact our Guest Contact Centre.
